Nike is continuing to release colorways of the Air Max 90 Golf around the majors, such as the “PGA Championship” colorway that featured Route 66 detailing, and with the U.S. Open taking place next week at Brookline in Massachusetts, a Surf and Turf-themed colorway of the sneaker is on its way.
The sneaker features a white upper made up of Fuse with Dark Marina Blue seen on the Swoosh and Nike branding on the tongue tag. Red is seen on the mudguard and heeltab, with a pulltab added to the sneaker for easier ease of entry. Going down into the midsole, white is seen again with the wedge seen in Mint Foam and the outsole that features nubs for traction on the golf course. A puffy hangtag featuring a lobster in the form of a Swoosh comes with the sneaker to pay homage to Brookline’s New England roots.
