Over the past year, New Balance has teamed up with some of the most celebrated names in both the streetwear and sneaker industry. After debuting an upcoming collaboration with COSTS & FDMTL, New Balance now turns its sights to Japan’s nonnative for a trail running-inspired Fresh Foam Hierro silhouette.
The nonnative x New Balance Fresh Foam Hierro “Mole” is named after the mole due to its shared characteristics with the animal, and comes dressed in a “Warm Gray” outfit. Another noteworthy detail is New Balances’s signature “N” branding has been replaced with smaller “NB” logos to create a minimalist appeal.
In terms of tech specs, waterproof GORE-TEX is used on the upper, while TOE PROJECT is used for protection on the toe-box. Lastly, the midsole contains Fresh Foam X technology, while the outsole is equipped with VIBRAM MEGA GRIP to provide extra traction.
The nonnative x New Balance Fresh Foam Hierro “Mole” is due to be released at select retailers such as COVECHORD, BEAUTY&YOUTH, and select New Balance Japan locations starting November 21.
