New Balance 997S Seeks Inspiration in Morocco

While traditional iterations of the New Balance 997 are all the rage right now given the extremely hyped Aimé Leon Dore collaboration, newly released iterations of the hybrid 997S continue to gain momentum as a driving summer style.

This “Moroccan Tile” edition is part of the reason why. With the ability to look and feel like a collaboration yet doesn’t come with a secondary partner, this inline colorway mimics both Bodega and Ronnie Fieg collaborations from the past year. And, too, one that doesn’t even exist yet.
