Culminating the draft process, this year’s rookie class put on their authentic team jerseys for the first time yesterday at the 2014 NBA Rookie Photo Shoot. Marking the end of the summer and the last event before the rooks are initiated onto the team at training camp in the fall, the annual photo shoot has always been one of the best chances in the league for sneaker sightings. Every rookie wants to have on clean shoes for their first NBA picture day before they enter Kicks On Court and this year’s roster maintained the tradition. Julius Randle made his future teammate Nick Young proud by mismatching a pair of “What the Kobe” 8s with his purple and gold gear, Andrew Wiggins represented the Three Stripes in their new Boost model and the rest of the rookies followed suit to match up the draft’s sneaker game with their playing potential.
