It’s the most wonderful time of the year for college football: Bowl season. From December to January, all eyes are set on their team’s bowl and the prime time bowls. One of, if not, the most important bowl games of them all is the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

Houston native Nard Got Sole designed this new pair of customs in honor of Texas Longhorn legend Vince Young. While Young’s NFL career was memorable, the 2005 Rose Bowl between the two offensive juggernauts is one of Young’s best performances in his football career. The showdown between Vince Young and the Texas Longhorns against Reggie Bush and the USC Trojans easily goes down in football history as one of the best games to be played.

This Air Jordan 6 was transformed into a work of art paying homage to the Longhorn legend. By implementing the school colors of burnt orange and white, the shoe has a clean finish that dons the Longhorns distinct colors and identity. On top of that, Nard Got Sole stays true to his style by decking out the Jumpman and adding a tag that align with the pair of customs. The shoe also features the logos of the school adding another layer of authenticity to the pair.

Take a look at these one of a kind customs below. Be sure to follow the artist here, and let us know how you feel about these. Would you rock them? What bowl games are you looking forward to? Let us know on social.
