It is always refreshing to see that no matter how big an athlete is or how many billions a brand hauls in annually, they still understand the importance of the everyday consumer like you and me and bring us along in the process.
Jordan Brand and Carmelo Anthony are no stranger to such actions. Despite the millions annually the brand and Melo give back to local communities, they have also had the sneaker world hand a hand in the process of Melo’s shoes. Five years ago for example, Melo not only had a hand in crowning the next footwear design star through the Future Sole program launched by longtime Jordan Brand and Melo design director, D’Wayne Edwards, he had the winner design him a pair of shoes that he wore on court and brought it to stores.
This time around, no design skills are necessary – just creative thought.
Carmelo Anthony and Jordan Brand want you to name his favorite colorway, the Black/Gold colorway, of his latest signature shoe with The Brand – the Jordan Melo M11.

This colorway that is yet to be named will go on sale January 3, 2015. I can’t think of a better way to start off the new year than to have bragging rights in your sneaker circle that you picked the name for Melo’s fav colorway of the M11.
