Since 2005 Marvel and streetwear stalwart BAPE have teamed up on numerous collaborations. Even earlier this summer, the duo dropped a new range of superhero-indebted BAPESTA colorways. With Tokyo Comic Con set for this Friday, Marvel and BAPE once again expanded their collaborative efforts by adding three more (soon-to-be sought-after) BAPESTA superhero/anti-hero options that pay homage to Spider-Man, Venom, and Dr. Strange.
Each Marvel x BAPESTA is crafted from patent leather dipped in bold hues that represent its respective character. Spider-Man boasts a clean red and blue outfit paired with contrasting STA motifs, Venom goes for a black, blue, and white look, and lastly, Dr. Strange sports a black, blue, yellow, and red outfit to match his comic book appearance.
Each colorway is rounded off with the respective character emblazoned on the lateral left heel while the right shoe spotlights the Marvel logo.
