Maison Margiela is on with the chunky sneaker trend and they’ve elevated the movement to a whole new level, both literally and figuratively with their Retro Fit Low sneaker.
The shoe is constructed with a leather upper that sports actual exposed sponge paneling throughout the quarter, tongue, and heel for a deconstructed aesthetic. The shoe also rests on a thick platform sole with a rippled meets lugged outsole traction pattern for an avant-garde twist.
