Although football season was in full swing yesterday, there was a ‘little’ basketball game that was played in Istanbul, Turkey . The USA basketball team, which many referred to as the B-Team, captured its first world basketball championship since 1994, routing Turkey 81-64. As seen all tournament, Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant gave another standout performance as he sunk seven three-pointers and finished with 28 points and five rebounds. The Nike Zoom Hyperfuse was the choice sneaker of Durant and many of his teammates including Lamar Odom, Russell Westbrook and Stephen Curry; however, there were other sneakers on display as Tyson Chandler laced up the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III and Andre Igoudala wore the Nike Hyperdunk 2010. Adidas was also represented as Chauncey Billups and Derrick Rose wore the adidas TS Lightning Creator and the adidas adiZero, respectively.
