Unless you have been living under a rock, we all know that yesterday, January 20th, 2009, marked the official inauguration of President Barack Obama’s campaign. In an attempt to pay tribute to Obama???s first day in Office, Jordan Brand released these two limited edition ???Inauguration Day??? colorways of the Jordan Pure Pressure yesterday.

Last night, Atlanta Hawks teammates Joe Johnson and Mike Bibby, wore these special edition Jordan Pure Pressure sneakers against the Chicago Bulls. Coinciding perfectly with the Hawks jerseys, Johnson’s sneaker feature a white leather upper with a predominately blue stars and stripes design covering the sole. In contrast, Bibby’s Pure Pressure feature a red stars and stripes design in the same area. The date of the inauguration, 1.20.09 is seen on the tongue.
