The Nike Air Max Sweep Thru garnered a lot of interest during the NBA lockout months. This velcro-laced sneaker first surfaced on the feet of Amar’e Stoudemire at his Skills Academy at the beginning of the summer last year. Since then, he and Sacramento Kings forward Jason Thompson have been consistent wearers of this shoe in our Kicks On Court column. To coincide with Sacramento’s jerseys, Thompson sported a “Vivid Grape” pair in last night’s win against the Indiana Pacers. On the contrary, S.T.A.T. laced up the Knicks inspired ‘Home’ pair in New York’s loss against the Suns. Who wore the better colorway? View these kicks plus more, worn by Ray Allen, Monta Ellis, Tim Duncan and others, below.
