We spotted multiple, never-before-seen sneakers in our Kicks On Court column this week. Specifically, Carmelo Anthony rocked suede-textured Jordan Melo M7, while Dwyane Wade laced up two new pairs of the Air Jordan 2011. Also, Brandon Jennings rocked a new colorway of the Under Armour Black Ice Low. Although Kobe Bryant and Derrick Rose did not wear new sneakers, they round out our Fab Five thanks to their stellar performances this week. Take a look at our Kicks On Court Weekly Recap – Fab Five.

Carmelo Anthony shooting in the Jordan Melo M7

The Jordan Melo M7 has been the riding under the shadows of other signature sneakers all season (Nike LeBron 8 V2, Nike Zoom Kobe VI, etc.). However, Jordan Brand has supplied Carmelo with some intriguing variations of this shoe lately. In addition to last week’s debut of the Jordan Melo M7 Future Sole and the “St. Patrick’s Day” Jordan Melo M7, Antony debuted a never-before-seen suede-textured M7 earlier this week. Many of you stated that it is the best one yet and rightfully so.

Derrick Rose in the adidas adiZero Rose 1.5

Derrick Rose continues to show why he should be the front runner for the MVP award this season. Monday night, he helped his team to a 40-point win over the Sacramento Kings. The next night, he scored 30 points and dished out 10 assists while helping his team to a 33-point win against the Hawks. Is he playing better basketball since the All-Star break? If so, give the adidas adiZero Rose 1.5 a little credit!

Kobe Bryant laying it up in the Nike Zoom Kobe VI

Kobe Bryant had one of, if not his best game of the 2010-2011 NBA season this past Tuesday. While wearing the “Concord” Nike Zoom Kobe VI, Bryant scored 42 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out nine assists in a triple overtime win against the Phoenix Suns.

Dwyane Wade defending in the Air Jordan 2011

Dwyane Wade broke out two new Air Jordan 2011 PEs this past week. This “Away” PE seemed to catch your attention the most. Much like the “Blackout” Air Jordan 2011, this shoe features a mainly black patina/patent leather upper. The red and citrus colored accents give this pair a very distinctive look. Is this the best Air Jordan 2011 colorway to date?

Brandon Jennings shooting in the Under Armour Black Ice Low

We have not seen the Under Armour Black Ice on court as much as other signature models due to Brandon Jennings’s injuries; however, he definitely rocked one of the better colorways we have seen on this shoe. The all-black upper is highlighted by a gucci-colored toe strap giving this shoe a stylish look.
