My best outlet find was on a recent trip to the United States. Being from Australia, we don’t have outlets on the scale and quality of what you guys can find in the States, so on holidays spent in the US, a trip (or several) to the outlet mall has always been a fixture. A prior road trip on the US East Coast secured for me “Cough Drop” Foams and Diamond Turf 96s, but a memorable trip to the Citadel Outlets in Los Angeles led me to discover a pair of Griffey Max JRs in a size 12. It was the last pair left in the store! A 3-hour bus ride from West LA was worth it. The $120 price tag was a little steep, but the purchase was made all the more sweet when the checkout person brought the total to $60, as there was 50% off this pair. These shoes never released in Australia, and I have a sweet feeling every time I put them on.
