It seems as if JR Smith is making a late, playoff run for the Kicks On Court Champion award. After debuting the Nike LeBron X PS Elite “Superhero” in Game 1 of the Celtics vs. Knicks series, our Kicks On Court column spotted him in yet another coveted sneaker from Nike’s Elite series. In Game 2, Smith laced up the Nike KD V Elite “EYBL” while scoring 19 points to help the Knicks best Boston again; he also received his well-deserving Sixth Man of the Year award last night.
If you recall, the “EYBL” KD V Elite first surfaced on the web about two weeks ago and was specifically created for participants of the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL). Unfortunately, the “EYBL” Elite will not hit retailers, but props to JR for bringing a highly-coveted exclusive to the court.
