Foamposite will have a big run in the first quarter of 2011. ?So far we know of 2 Foamposites, 1 Foamposite Pro, and then Foamposite take downs to Air Max 24-7s and other Nike retro product. ?Interestingly the faux Foamposite material will be jumping across brands as well and make it’s way to the Jordan 6 Rings.
As you probably know the Jordan 6 Rings is a mashup that consists of the 7 pairs of shoes MJ wore while earning his 6 NBA Championships. ?In the past we have seen makeups inspired teams conqured en route to the rings, but mark this as the first time we have seen Jordan Legacy product take design cues from the signature shoe of another athlete.
The Foamposite-esque 6 Rings sports a Black and Dark Neon Royal (official color name even) on the upper, but takes the design inspiration another step further with an icy outsole.
What are your thoughts on this shoe? ?Look for these in stores in February for $160.
