Of the many Jordan Brand performance sneakers at Jimmy Butler’s disposal, the Philadelphia 76ers All-Star often prefers one that’s not so often seen. The Jordan Supreme Elevation shares unique parallels with Butler’s game.
And, true to its moniker, heightens his play with a certain enigmatic elevation.
Butler first laid eyes on the Supreme Elevation in 2018. Since that time it’s been his ideal court companion, an adoration forged given the style’s extreme responsiveness courtesy of two large visible heel Zoom Air bags.

Although widely unknown, the Jordan Supreme Elevation is the lightest shoe in its class. This holds true even with its forefoot and top straps. Yet given all those many technical updates and varying style cues, Butler loves the shoe most because it’s a bit off-center in terms of popularity.
It almost feels like a signature shoe for Butler given he wears them and no one else in the NBA does. This is largely due to the fact that the shoe is an Asian-exclusive only available at select Greater China Nike retailers.
So for Butler, this is his shoe. And with the 2019 NBA Playoffs already underway, the Houston-native is prime to add to his legacy in this quasi-signature sneaker.
