The FILA Original Fitness x APT.4B Captures the Essence of the ’90s

Over the past several decades, FILA has built a name for themselves. From sports sponsorships with players like former NBA superstar Grant Hill and the production of appealing sportswear apparel, the brand’s reach has extended from athletics to streets around the globe. In 2021, the Korea-based brand has delved back to their roots to produce retro footwear capturing the essence of their historic past. Partnering with concept shop APT.4B, FILA is reintroducing their iconic Original Fitness sneaker.

In collaborating with the New York City streetwear company, the Original Fitness reflects the culturally impactful 90’s era of NYC. The pair features a cream upper with the brand’s signature two-toned suede flag. Hits of navy and red are seen throughout the silhouette’s profile, particularly on FILA’s namesake branding. Nodding to their design partner, “APT.4B” is embossed in gold lettering on the heel. To ensure maximum comfort, the pair is finished off with leather linings, an EVA midsole, and an updated sockliner.

The FILA Original Fitness x APT.4B is available now on apt4b.nyc for $90. Take a look below and let us know what you think about the sneaker on social media.
