Air Jordan 5 White/Metallic Silver
The Air Max 97 is probably the most 3M I’d rock on one shoe, but my favorite application of the flash feature is that of the Air Jordan 5. When I was in seventh grade, I got my first pair in the form of the White/Metallic Silver retros. I wore them to school (and actually got made fun of once about them), I played basketball in them and eventually I probably mowed the lawn in them. Back when they were clean, there’s a great shot of me wearing them on spring break in Hilton Head with my sister. It’s at sunset so it’s pretty dim, but you can see the tongue just glowing on the shoe.
