The Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” is among one of the many original colorways of the AJ1. Very hard to find these days, the 1985 version features a leather build with Wings and Nike branding. The “Black Toe” makeup is distinguished by its unique interpretation of the Chicago color scheme.

2007

After a 22 year wait, the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” returned for the first time in the “Old Love/New Love” Package. Paired with a Black/Yellow colorway to represent Michael’s new love of motorcycle racing, this version featured a midtop cut and Jumpman tongue tagging. The package price, additional colorway, and updated cut were enough for many fans to pass, even after such a long wait.

2012

Covered in canvas, the “Black Toe” colorway released again on the Air Jordan 1 KO in 2012. The pair dropped the same day as a Black/Red version of the KOs, but the two shoes were not packaged together. High top cut made these closer to the OGs, but canvas composition and Jumpman branding was where they differed.
