Ahead of the globally anticipated Air Jordan 11 “Concord” release this weekend, patent leather fever appears to not only be trending amongst consumers but designers as well.
Chicago son Don C has his eye on the glossy leather material as it’s popped up on the latest iteration of his Jordan Legacy 312. Similar to the Air Jordan 1 Black/Gold in patent leather that dropped in 2003, it marks yet another colorway for Don that strategically pulls from adoring past Air Jordan releases. Others include the beloved “Toro Bravo.”
This particular Jordan Legacy 312 moves in several directions. Both implementing elephant print that first appeared on the Air Jordan 3 and the aforementioned colorway from the Air Jordan 1, Don C continues to express his love for Jordan Brand heritage while helping produce Jordan Brand present.
Expect this new colorway in stores later this month.
