As stated earlier, DeMar was on a roll in the Closet Appeal department at the beginning of the season. Nate Robinson and Monta Ellis were the only other two nominees that brought out consistent, original Jordan heat game after game in the first month of the season. DeRozan’s Jordans were different, however. Before DeRozan wore the “Black Cat” 4s this season, we hadn’t seen that shoe on the NBA hardwood in 5+ years. He also laced up the “Fire Red” Air Jordan 5 and wore both shoes in the Air Jordan 5 “Toro Bravo” Pack. Everybody wears the red suede ones on court, but seeing the all-3M 5s was a breath of fresh air to say the least.
