Kim Jones, creative director of Dior Homme, has tapped American contemporary artist Daniel Arsham for a range of collaborative sneakers. Utilizing Dior’s new Dior CD1 Sneaker silhouette, the collaborative model has been elegantly constructed from leather and mesh materials. Elsewhere, transparent details found in the midsole expresses a similarity to Daniel Arsham’s “Future Relics” series. Finally the collaborative models are marked with contrasting Dior branding on the carefully sculpted midsoles.
The Daniel Arsham x Dior CD1 Sneakers are available now at select Dior boutiques and via Dior’s online store in pink and white or blue and white, in addition to monochrome black and white. Retail prices on the sneaker ranges from $1,050 to $1,150.
