Continuing to give back to Portland, Blazers All-Star guard Damian Lillard held a sneaker giveaway for local youth on Monday. This was no normal sneaker giveaway though as Lillard announced it himself via his Twitter account and then drove the U-Haul truck that was carrying the kicks to Portland’s Irving Park.
That’s right, Lillard actually drove a U-Haul to his sneaker giveaway.

As you would expect, Lillard quickly ran out of sneakers but he then signed countless autographs and interacted with the large group of kids from the back of the truck.

Lillard may have finished fourth overall in MVP voting but in Portland, he’s clearly the real MVP.
