But there were other sneaker notables, such as King James’ wear of the “Data” Nike LeBron 12 and Carmelo Anthony’s debut of a blue suede Jordan Melo M10 PE. The latter marks the fourth Melo player exclusive that has featured an all-suede construction in four years, which seems to be an ever-increasing fashion theme with player exclusives these days. 9. Nike Air Max LeBron VII “Phantom” Suede PE

King James first wore suede on the NBA hardwood during the 2009-2010 NBA campaign, his last season in Cleveland. The “Phantom” LeBron VII’s leather panels and mudguard were swapped out for black suede on a pair he wore against the Boston Celtics in a nationally televised game.
