Same team, new results. Jason Kidd’s return to Dallas proved fruitful. After reaching the NBA Finals as a Net, the new look Mavs benefited from Kidd’s veteran leadership and versatility en route to an NBA Championship in 2011. Kidd’s improved three-point shooting and lockdown defense made him and the Mavs more dynamic.
Kidd’s second stint with the Mavs had a lot in common with New Jersey on the footwear front. He continued to rock iD/PE versions of the Nike Zoom Flight V as well as the Nike Zoom Brave series the ZFV inspired. What surprised many was his switch to PEAK. PEAK outfitted the longtime Swoosh sporter for the majority of his second set of Dallas days.
