Jason Kidd’s first stay in Dallas would be short, as he was quickly shipped to Phoenix. Kidd came into his own in many ways in the desert, leading the league in assists for three straight seasons and becoming a perennial All-Star. While in Phoenix, Kidd would share the backcourt with the likes of Penny Hardaway, Kevin Johnson, and Steve Nash.
The midseason move to Phoenix saw Kidd rocking the Black/Blue colorway of the Nike Zoom Flight V. For the majority of his Suns stay, Jason Kidd returned to his Flight camp roots and was gifted an array of player exclusives, namely the Nike Air Afterburner Flight and Nike Air Flightposite. He also saw his second signature sneaker, the morph skin-shrouded Nike Zoom Kidd.
