British Knights is coming back in full force for 2014. Recently stating on Billboard that ‘Artists Are the New Athletes’, music mogul Scooter BraunĀ is spearheading the revival of BK. Revisiting the connection between the brand and its connection with the hip-hop culture in the late ’80s and early ’90s, Braun has also brought well-known creator Dr. Romanelli on board to bring a fresh look to the high-top performance sneakers that will look to re-establish British Knights as a premium shoe for urban trendsetters. Details on the actual models and colorways are slim, but the first two seen silhouettes are a Union Jack rendition of the classic BKs and an updated version of the iconic black high-top. Scooter Braun has stated that he will collaborate with some of the world’s greatest street artists, and that the retro Knights won’t exactly be easy to get. Don’t be surprised if you see some of Braun’s biggest clients, including Justin Bieber, spotted in BKs in the near future.
