Collaborating with Asics on a death-themed shoe, the Boston-based sneaker boutique Bodega recently gave us a sneak peak at the Bodega x Asics Gel-Mai “Underground.” We now have a closer look at the sneaker, which features an upper with ostrich, nubuck, suede and pebbled leathers.
Fresh to death, the Bodega x Asics Gel-Mai “Underground” also has a lavender jewel heel, speckled soles and a translucent ice outsole that is reminiscent of the human foot from an anatomical perspective. The sneaker also features a customization option with three different lace options – tangerine, white and lavender.
The Bodega x Asics Gel-Mai “Underground” will be released for $170 on June 23 exclusively at Bodega and bdgastore.com.
