The BAPE Simple Sta is a hybrid shoe, combining the likes of several different BAPE silhouettes. Although BAPE has never been known for their original designs, the Japanese street-wear company is noted for using premium materials with excellent quality. Yesterday, we showed you a summer 2010 lineup of the Bape Crape. We now have word that several BAPE stores have received the newly designed BAPE Simple Sta.
The newly designed BAPE Simple Sta uses an upper that is very reminiscent of the Red Wing work boot that many have given praise too. In addition to this popular silhouette, it is obvious that the Nike Air Force 1 has made its influence on this design. Thick hiking boot laces add a rugged finishing touch to what seems to be a very premium leather. Colors and materials featured include two leather pairs in black and burgundy, along with a brown suede pair. An off-white midsole compliments all three uppers and minimal branding can be seen on the midsole and the tongue. View additional photos below.
