Known for their iconic BAPE STA sneaker, A Bathing Ape revives their forgotten BAPE BLOCK STA HI. It’s been a minute since we’ve seen this sneaker and BAPE made sure to make a statement. This BLOCK STA HI is one part of the 5-piece “Street Hybrid” collection that includes four different colorways of the BAPE SK8 STA.
The BAPE BLOCK STA HI brings the BAPE STA to new heights. The high-top design of this sneaker slims down the BAPE STA’s traditional silhouette with a smaller midsole. The entire upper is made with tumbled leather. Rich green dresses the quarters and toe box, while a crisp white is used for the overlays. Black detailing appears on the outsole, shoelaces, and BAPE’s signature shooting star. For an extra sporty finish, the sneaker is complete with a red rubberized ‘93 panel and velcro shoelace strap.
The BAPE BLOCK STA HI and the rest of the “Street Hybrid” Collection will be available on September 18, 2021. You can purchase the sneakers from any of BAPE’s flagship stores, as well as their website. Sizes for both men and women will be available. The retail price is set at $279.
