Trail running silhouettes appear to be running far away from the trails and onto the runways. Such is the case as Balenciaga debuted their new Tess S. Gomma Trek sneaker during their Fall/Winter 2018 fashion show and it looks like it’s going to be the predecessor to the Triple S.
This silhouette features a technical shape with a combination of synthetic leathers and mesh overlays on the upper that rest on a cushioned midsole with a lugged outsole that matches traditional trail-running attire. Offered in a range of color palettes that consist of vibrant and neutral offerings, this style also mirrors running footwear designs with two-toned laces and pull-tabs on the heels.
