Designer label AURALEE returns to New Balance with the upcoming AURALEE x New Balance XC-72. Last year the Japan-based brand garnered some major buzz as the refined AURALEE x New Balance 550 was a tonal dream.
AURALEE’s upcoming New Balance XC-72 comes in three different colorways, offering chocolate brown, beige, and cerulean blue. Each sneaker is completely monochromatic, with modest accents throughout. The upper is crafted with premium suede that is protected by the rubberized heel counter. The speckled midsole also builds onto the forefoot and acts as a mudguard. New Balance’s signature “N” can be seen on the side, but there’s no notable branding for AURALEE.
The AURALEE x New Balance XC-72 drops on October 13, 2022. The retail price is set at ¥19,800 (approx. $136 USD).
