Back in March, AURALEE unveiled their AW21 Collection, with a Japanese-inspired New Balance 550 making a prominent appearance on the digital event. Several months later, the upcoming collaboration is finally set to release to the public.
When it comes down to Japanese-inspired fashion, the beauty always arrives from the details. Noticeably blanketed in an all-white color, the pair’s unique retro construction gives the otherwise monochromatic look a splash of good charming aesthetics. An aged look, as seen on the yellowed midsole, coupled with retro-styled blocking completes the design. Branding is kept to a minimum, with the “AURALEE” name placed only on the midsole.
