Asics has turned more than a few heads and changed more than a few opinions as of late, whether by working with famous sneaker shops and sites on collaborations, like our own Nice Kicks x Asics Gel-Lyte III, or producing some clean in-house work like the “Yankee Doodle” we showed you two weeks ago. And now they’re bringing us these ultra-clean?GT-II “Kiwi Fruit.” While you might have expected to see a bright-green build for these based on their namesake, the kiwi cues show in the subtleties of the design, including the speckled laces and the accent above the heel. The remaining upper is all white with a mix of leather and mesh, offset with a touch of red on the stitching along the trademarked Asics arches design.
