New York streetwear stalwart ALIFE was one of the earliest adidas Consortium partners. They last released a collaborative project in 2017, working alongside Parisian company Starcow on a set of Stan Smith’s and Gazelle’s. This time, though, they go at it alone, helping the resurgent adidas Nizza bask in new life.
First seen in collaboration with Donald Glover for his debut adidas collection, ALIFE takes to the mid ’70s style with simplicity and refinement. Set atop a vulcanized sole with very traditional canvas construction throughout the upper, ALIFE adds its famed box logo to the paneling while branded laces and toe cap help ALIFE celebrate its 20th anniversary. The shoe is finished with two TPU wristbands as an ode to NYC nightlife. They can be worn over the shoes or around the wrist.
Look for the ALIFE x adidas Nizza online and in-store at Alife Rivington Club (158 Rivington St., New York, NY 10002) beginning May 2 and globally on May 11.
