Releasing in honor of the NCAA Tournament and the six total championships of the North Carolina Tarheels, Jordan Brand today releases its Air Jordan XXX2 “UNC” edition.
A premium variation of MJ’s 32nd signature model, the shoe is done in a textured coating of Carolina Blue with a Flyknit base and a marbled midsole below. The heel is the shoe’s shining moment, though, as it highlights six pendants that represent each of the Heels’ six titles. The 1982 team, which of course featured His Airness, receives special treatment as its outlined in gold while all others are seen in silver.
