What’s the next Air Jordan to return with Nike Air tagging?

Recently, we found the answer.

The Air Jordan 5 White/Black-Fire Red is slated to return to retail with Nike Air heel tagging.

For those keeping track at home, this OG colorway worn on court with Mike released with Nike Air branding back in 1990 (Mike’s PEs are seen above) and once again in 2000 with OG branding as seen below.

Whether or not the 2020 shoe will feature MJ’s PE #23 tagging was unknown for most of the lead-up.

Just the same, House of Heat poised a good question: could this retro release tell the story of Mike’s stolen jersey game?

During the ’89-’90 season, Mike infamously wore the Air Jordan 5 White/Black-Fire Red with a #12 jersey as his gamer was stolen.

With that said, PE tagging on the 2020 pair is now known.
