In conjunction with March Madness, a number of University-inspired PEs have been revealed lately, with the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Marquette” PE being the latest to arrive. This pair follows the “UCLA” and “UNC” PEs, as well as the Oregon “Ducks of a Feather” PE.
This edition of the Air Jordan 1 Low has a Sail leather upper with textured Navy Blue overlays that boast a soft sheen. The signature Nike Swoosh has a pebbled texture as well and stands out in University Gold. This detail complements the miniature Swoosh on the forefoot as well as the Nike Air tongue tag. To finish, the sneaker is complete with quilted satin liners, Marquette’s “MU” logo stamped onto the insoles, and a Light Gum rubber outsole.
March Madness is still going strong, but the Marquette Golden Eagles were eliminated from the tournament by Michigan State in a close game that ended 69-60.
