Following last month’s “Couture” Air Jordan 1 which featured some of the best leather we’ve ever seen on the 1985 classic, Jordan Brand continues to couple the shoe with new material companions as seen through this budding ballistic mesh iteration.
With a look and feel that brings back memories of the denim-focused “Family Forever” pair from 2014, a deep navy shade overpowers the style in a forceful monotone while a gleaming sheen bounces from this crisp mesh. Red outsole tooling acts in opposition of the primary tone while the traditional Wings logo appears perched at the ankle collar.
Very few details are known regarding this upcoming Air Jordan 1. Stay tuned for more.
Update 3/14: Seemingly inspired by the famous Gina (@spginagotgame), a forever Jordan Brand fan who flexes all of her Air Jordan purchases at her go-to sneaker shop, Shoe Palace, the Air Jordan 1 “Gina” (although we’re holding out hope that Jordan Brand labels them the “Go Gina”) is patterned after her signature style and references her dedication and support of the brand. No release details are currently known but the pair is rumored for May.
