Kanye’s dad shoe debut has done well at retail in V1 and V2 fashion. Though a V3 700 is starting to make the rounds, the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN sees the proud pops pair popping up in its sleekest styling yet.
Reported by py-rates , early renderings pegged these as an all-orange 700 proper. Now thanks to Yeezy Mafia, it’s known that the 700 MNVN is actually an all together new model — one that we previously called the Yeezy 700 VX.
Said to be designed by Christian Tresser and Steven Smith, the minds behind the Nike Air Max 97 and Reebok Insta Pump Fury, respectively, the 700 MNVN features a sleek nylon upper with 700 posted on the lateral side in 3M fashion.
The shoe was gifted to Tekashi69’s manager back in the Fall of 2018 when Kanye was in NYC for Fashion Week and working on music with the young artist. While West has been seen on occasion rocking this model, they’ve been relatively mute in regards to seeding otherwise.
With that said, the “Triple Black” pair worn by West is said to lead the charge. Just the same, the “Orange” iteration seen in ASAP Bari’s VLONE fashion show is also on the way.
Will there be more? Very likely. A slew of shades were showcased in Kanye’s famous Forbes video interview.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN does not have an official release date or official imagery yet, however reports suggest these will drop in early 2020 for a more affordable than usual retail price of $220.
