Whether you want to admit it or not, LeBron James is amongst the upper-echelon of the greatest players in NBA history. If you discounted his legacy up until this point, his Game 2 triple-double against the talented Golden State Warriors during the NBA Finals should have easily swung your negativity in the opposite direction. However, last night’s performance wasn’t all that niche nor rare as The King has had his fair share of notable playoff performances over his now lengthy career.

It’s sort of crazy to think that LeBron James’ first playoff series was nearly ten years ago as his youthful Cleveland Cavaliers took on the surprisingly loaded Washington Wizards. With Gilbert Arenas nearly reaching the apex of his career, many basketball enthusiasts weren’t too enthralled with the Cavaliers’ chances of advancing to the next round.

However, during Game 5 of this series, LeBron James would turn in an incredible performance as his 45 points and myriad of rebounds and assists helped the Cavaliers prevail to command a 3-2 series lead. Ultimately, in fitting James fashion, he delivered the game winning layup to help seal the contest in the Cavaliers’ favor.
