T-Mac back? At only 19 years of age, Andrew Wiggins has already drawn comparisons to the silky shooter, gotten props from Kobe and has had his name dropped in a Drake hook. Making good on all the nods, the springy swingman from The 6 has stayed winning, boosting his collection of trophies over All-Star Weekend by taking home the Rising Stars Challenge MVP award– a first for a rookie since Kyrie Irving in 2012.
Make no mistake though, Andrew Wiggins is not the second coming of any of the aforementioned All-Stars– he’s got his own grouping of gifts with his own game and his own name. Andrew Wiggins: “[Debuting those] just shows the love they’ve got for me. I got the opportunity [to debut] them and I ran with it and I appreciate it. The 2014 Boosts feel great, but these feel a lot better. The cushioning and everything about them feels really good.”
