New Balance has teamed up with Sao Paolo-based sneaker store Your ID on a ramen-inspired collaboration on the New Balance 327, dropping later this week.
Taking after the ramen broth and noodles, the sneaker’s base features a tan suede upper with an array of different materials and colors on the overlays throughout, taking inspiration from ramen garnishes. Forest green hairy suede is seen on the mudguard and heel, inspired by nori with pink, yellow, and orange seen around the laces taking after kamaboko (steamed fish cake) and a soft-boiled egg respectively. The N logo on the lateral side is seen in tan with a silver outline with Kanji seen on the heeltab and tongue tag, along with a graphic of a bowl of ramen. Lastly, a white and neon green midsole and gum outsole finish off the sneaker.
