Lunar New Year is just around the corner. To celebrate the Year of the Rabbit, Vans is releasing an exclusive capsule featuring its classic Slip-On and a DIY HI VLT LX.
First up, the Vans Slip-On is available in three signature checkboard colorways: red, green, and black. Emblazoned on each option are yin-and-yang rabbit motifs as a tribute to the Chinese Zodiac Sign. Further paying homage to the theme is the red sock liners. Rounding out the final details are the white rubber midsoles and the red Vans logo.
Over on the DIY HI VLT LX, the pair combines design cues from both the SK8-Hi and Half Cab and features a “DESIGN IT YOURSELF” aesthetic spotlighted by the various Velcro attachments as decoration.
The Vault by Vans “Year of the Rabbit” Capsule will only be available to purchase via BILLY’s TOKYO on January 1. Prices range from ¥12,100 JPY (approx. $90 USD) for the Slip-Ons and ¥26,400 (approx. $196 USD) for the DIY HI VLT LX.
