Yesterday, we showed you Vans Vault’s tribute to the 2009 MLB World Series runner up club in the form of the Chukka LX “Philadelphia Phillies”. However, we now take a look at Vans Vault’s tribute to the team everybody seems to love or hate.
The latest installment in the ongoing Opening Day Collection is this Vans Vault Old Skool LX “New York Yankees”. This particular Old Skool LX draws its design cues from the Bronx Bombers current ‘Home’ uniforms. A white canvas base is overlayed with an all-over navy blue pinstripe design and is finished with a white, vulcanized rubber sole. Its complimentary attributes include a navy blue inner lining, white shoelaces, and the Yankees logo in navy blue script on the heel. This Old Skool LX, which will be accompanied with a complimentary limited edition Majestic Authentic Jersey, will be available exclusively at DQM in New York on April 13th.
