| Since 2009 began, we have seen exclusive photos of many upcoming Vans releases to our liking. In addition, Vans is set to release skateboarder Johnny Layton’s first signature sneaker dubbed the Vans J-Lay Mid.
The Vans J-Lay’s style was handpicked by none other than Johnny Layton himself. He decided to use a predominately purple canvas upper mixed with a white rubber sole. One of the more interesting features on this sneaker is the gradient like design on the upper. Solid purple appears on the toe box, yet it fades to white by the heel of the shoe. To finish it off, this sneaker is complimented with a waffle grip outsole. Via BSS. |
