One of Japan’s most cryptic fashion labels finally reveals details for the Undercover x Nike Dunk High 1985 “Chaos.” First seen during Paris Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 2021, this sneaker comes in a pack, which includes a white variation that has yet to receive an official drop date.
For the Black/White pair of this Nike Dunk High, the sneaker has an all-over black leather upper. The base is made with tumbled leather, while the overlays have classic smooth leather. The ‘85 structure goes up just a little bit higher than usual at the tongue, and also has a curved angle at the ankle. The heel counters are dressed with different motifs, one saying “CHAOS” and the other saying “GLEICHGEWICHT,” which is German for “balance.” Another ambiguous message makes its way around the ankle collar saying, “NEUES LEBEN” and “NEUER LÄRM.” To complete the design, the sneaker sits atop a white speckled midsole.
