Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER outfit has long been a cherished collaborator of Nike. Most know their work from the NikeLab Gyakusou offerings, but today they take a different approach entirely, re-imagining the famed Dunk High into something they’re calling the “Jungle” edition.
The high arching shoe is drenched in tumbled leather at the toe and paneling, while black leather overlays are aided by Flywire cables seeping through the lace collar. Weather resistant taped tooling lines the toe joined by reinforced heel construction reading “Balance” in black.
Expect the UNDERCOVER x Nike Jungle Dunk on January 18 at select retailers globally including Solebox.
