Following up on the successful run of the Nike Kobe 4 Protro series, Nike Basketball is bringing out another hoopers favorite with the Nike Kobe 5 Protro in a big way in 2020. The year started off well with the release of the return of the “Chaos” Kobe 5, but there are plenty more great releases coming this year including a series of collaborations with LA-based brand Undefeated.

More than a favorite amongst Kobe fans and sneakerheads alike, the Nike Kobe 5 was the most worn signature shoe in the NBA during the 2009-10 NBA season. If the Kobe 4 could break the sneaker barrier and thinking that a high-performance hooper could play in low tops, the Kobe 5, designed by Eric Avar, demonstrated that players of all positions from big to small could play at the highest level in the same shoe.

The Undefeated x Nike Kobe 5 Protro collection will be releasing the fall of 2020 at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price is said to be $190.
