The game of sneakers has changed a ton since launching the blog nine years ago. One of the greatest things to happen to sneakers and for the culture and community is the introduction of communication apps like twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and many other social tools.
From a mobile device you can now stay in the loop with all upcoming sneakers, purchase kicks, and talk about shoes with people all around the globe and with Twitter’s new update, times have never been easier to stay in the loop with your crew.
Just announced this morning, Twitter will facilitate private Direct Message conversations for up to 20 people at once. In addition to this new feature, 30 second long videos will be a new addition making the need for uploading somewhere and then firing a link over a thing of the past.
Without question Twitter is feeling the pressure from competing tools like Instagram and Snapchat. With this great competition comes great new tools and features for all of us to stay in the loop with one another. The people win.
In case you aren’t already doing it, be sure to follow @nicekicks on twitter for all updates on kicks as well as other conversation.
New! Use Direct Messages to speak privately with a group of up to 20 people. Share Tweets, show emoji & be yourself. https://t.co/8giGhC6OO0
